We just returned from the St. Maarten Carnival press trip. A big thank you goes to Janelle Hermance from the St. Maarten Tourist Bureau for all her work to coordinate the itinerary and to ensure all was in place so she didn’t have to worry while she was jamming on the road. (Yeah … we understand you need to jam!)

Simpson Bay Resort folks were nice and generous but once our group moved to Divi Little Bay we were blown away. The resort was beautiful and ideally located by itself on a peninsula but the people … oh yes, the people … were amazing. I’ve done many press trips and the staff at this resort stand way above past experiences. From a lovely welcome reception, to gifts every evening, to sugary sweet employees, gorgeous rooms, to a four-course dinner with the Minister of Tourism, to complimentary spa treatments, to smiles at every turn … Divi Little Bay deserves every accolade it receives.

Thanks to Datwon Thomas (Vibe Magazine), Zachary Thomas (yeahimfamous.com), Teri Johnson (TravelistaTeri), Jamund Washington (TravelistaTeri), Sean Drakes (Getty) and Andrea De Silva (Reuters) for your professionalism, flexibility and energy. Now … get some rest!
